On Saturday, August 17, BYB Extreme Bare Knuckle made its Wales debut at the Vale Sports Arena for BYB 30 Cardiff Brawl. It was the first European show since BYB's acquisition of the UK-based BKB this past Spring, and featured a number of local Welsh stars in front of a sold out and energized crowd.
In the main event, LT "Smash" Nelson defeated "The Welsh Wrecking Machine" Barrie Jones by 3rd round knockout. Coming into the fight, Jones boasted a perfect 10-0 (9 KOs) record. With the win, Nelson, currently a BYB 2-division champion (Middleweight and Super Middleweight), took home Jones' BYB Police Gazette World Middleweight title, and cemented himself as one the best fighters in all of combat sports.
In other action, after getting stunned and knocked down early in his bare knuckle debut, UFC veteran Jack Marshman came back to knockout Carl Craig in round 1.
