Doherty’s signing has an immediate impact on both the BYB Middleweight and Super Middleweight divisions and he’s eager to fight all comers.”
Freeman added that Doherty is slated to make his debut at a BYB 38 Wolves Brawl II on March 22 in Wolverhampton, WestMidlands, UK. Tickets are available now at bybtickets.com.
Said Doherty, “Having dominated in the UK, I’m excited for the opportunity with BYB to test my mettle against some of the best bare knuckle fighters in the world. BTTB is a great organization and I'm grateful for the opportunity they’ve afforded me thus far, and for the support they have given me in taking this next step towards stardom.”
“I’m glad I’ll have a front row seat in March to watch LT and Connelly, and I hope neither gets too comfortable holding on to one of my belts,” Doherty said in reference to the BYB 38 main event between Super Middleweight champion LT Nelson and challenger James Connelly.
BYB’s next live show is February 1 in Cardiff, Wales, followed by February 22 in Denver, Colorado, USA. For more information, tickets, and more, follow @bybextreme on all social media platforms and visit bybextreme.com
